ASV (ASV)
"24. But to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who know not the deep things of Satan, as they are wont to say; I cast upon you none other burden. 25. Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come."
"26. And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations: 27. and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father:"
"28. and I will give him the morning star. 29. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches." (Revelation 2:24-29, ASV)

"24. But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don’t have this teaching, who don’t know what some call ‘the deep things of Satan,’ to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you. 25. Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come."
"26. He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations. 27. He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots; as I also have received of my Father:"
"28. and I will give him the morning star. 29. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies." (Revelation 2:24-29, WEB)

"26. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father."

"26. and he who is overcoming, and who is keeping unto the end my works, I will give to him authority over the nations, 27. and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter they shall be broken, as I also have received from my Father;"

Why these four translations
ris3n chose ASV, WEB, KJV, and YLT for two reasons together. They are the most literal English translations available (formal-equivalence: word-for-word renderings that preserve the Hebrew and Greek grammar rather than smoothing it into modern dynamic-equivalence idiom). And they are in the public domain in the United States, which means fair-use quotation at any length requires no publisher license. Modern licensed translations (NASB95, ESV, NIV) restrict volume of quotation under their copyright terms, so they are not used at stub-level coverage here. NASB95 appears only on hand-curated rich passage hubs under Lockman Foundation's fair-use allowance.
The four:
- ASV (American Standard Version, 1901). The basis of the modern critical-text English tradition.
- WEB (World English Bible, contemporary). Public-domain revision in the ASV line, in current English.
- KJV (King James Version, 1611). Reformation-era, Textus Receptus base.
- YLT (Young's Literal Translation, Robert Young, 1862). Hyper-literal preservation of Hebrew and Greek grammar; useful for word-study work even where English reads stiff.
