Hebrews 9.6-9

4. having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was a golden pot holding the manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; 5. and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat; of which things we cannot now speak severally.

6. Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services; 7. but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offereth for himself, and for the errors of the people: 8. the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing; 9. which is a figure for the time present; according to which are offered both gifts and sacrifices that cannot, as touching the conscience, make the worshipper perfect,

10. being only (with meats and drinks and divers washings) carnal ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation. 11. But Christ having come a high priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, (Hebrews 9:4-11, ASV)

6. Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services, 7. but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself, and for the errors of the people. 8. The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing; 9. which is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect;

10. being only (with meats and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation. 11. But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, (Hebrews 9:4-11, WEB)

The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: 9. Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

10. Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. ^{ordinances: or, rites, or, ceremonies} 11. 6. And these things having been thus prepared, into the first tabernacle, indeed, at all times the priests do go in, performing the services, 7. and into the second, once in the year, only the chief priest, not apart from blood, which he doth offer for himself and the errors of the people, 8. the Holy Spirit this evidencing that not yet hath been manifested the way of the holy [places], the first tabernacle having yet a standing; 9. which [is] a simile in regard to the present time, in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, which are not able, in regard to conscience, to make perfect him who is serving,

10. only in victuals, and drinks, and different baptisms, and fleshly ordinances, till the time of reformation imposed upon [them]. 11. And Christ being come, chief priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation (Hebrews 9:4-11, YLT)
