He is Risen indeed! - ris3n - 05-03-2025
Hello everyone, I go by risen, follower of Christ Jesus as Lord and my personal savior. He loved me first and I will follow Him always. As quoted in Mark 28:6 our Lord is risen from the grave, conquering death and providing the final atonement of sins for us.
St. John Chrysostom preached:
Quote:“If Christ be not risen, all is lost. But since He is risen, let none grieve nor fear death. The tomb became a womb birthing new creation.”
I've created this space out of necessity to pool together the best apologists in the game to be able to share their resources, thoughts and reflections in effort to strengthen the soldiers on the front line in the Kingdom of God, intellectually and spiritually. I also believe in the strengthening of the finances of the people which will help break captives of poverty free so they can have more resources to help spread the Kingdom in their community and worldwide.
My testimony is important to me. Though I didn't almost die, hit rock bottom, or see Jesus in person... (arguably I have been saved from these thresholds and on a daily basis)... I was born in a systematically oppression system and escaped the school to prison pipeline while avoiding being taken out by gang violence, graduated from a state university, become a homeowner in my 30s after homelessness, then becoming a director in a multimillion dollar startup and working from home full time... all of this while giving glory to God in all things possible because according the the stats I am 1 out of 17,700 or .005% of the population. I recognize that my mother and especially my grandmother has instilled the power of prayer in my life and I feel like it is always provided a guiding light inside me.
