Thomas Hofweber, a sharp philosopher of language, offers a way to shut that argument down before it starts. He says that when we say "there are infinitely many prime numbers," the little word "there are" is not really claiming that numbers *exist* as objects. It is just a logical bookkeeping device for generalizing over examples. So the sentence is true, but it does not commit us to a single number-object anywhere. No abstract objects, nothing for God to ground, argument over.
