New Age and Occult Defeaters

Christian engagement with New Age and occult objections to Christianity. These come from people who already grant that the material world is not everything, which makes them a different audience from the atheist objector: they are not asking whether the supernatural is real but whose account of it is right. The defeater work therefore begins by naming what the objector has already conceded, and then contests the specific claim rather than the metaphysics behind it. House style is concession-and-reframe: where Scripture agrees that something real stands behind collective devotion or occult practice, say so plainly, and then show why the biblical identification of that reality is the better one and why Christ is excluded from the category.
