Islam Arguments and Defeaters

Christian engagement with Muslim apologetic claims, in three parts. Defeaters answer Muslim objections to Christianity, including the denial of the crucifixion, the charge that the Bible has been corrupted, the Mohammed-in-the-Bible readings, and the Septuagint argument against Isaiah 9:6. A second group presses internal tensions in the Islamic sources: abrogation, temporary marriage, lost verses, the Satanic Verses episode, and predestination. A third group argues positively from Quran-internal evidence toward the Trinity and the deity of Christ. Master frame: The Muslim Defense.
