Existential

Arguments from features of human experience that fit poorly with a purely naturalistic account: the persistence of desire that no finite good satisfies, the human demand for meaning, the experience of beauty and joy as pointing beyond themselves, and the difficulty of living consistently inside naturalism. These arguments are cumulative and abductive rather than deductive, and are strongest as part of a larger case.
