I heard this a few months ago but got a chance to re-spin this record and I fully appreciate it as a work of expression that we don't see much in Christian music. It's raw, vulnerable and invokes emotions that we all have but don't talk about.

The thing is, when i first heard Jon Keith it was with Indie Tribe, the Christian rap group known for hard-hittin' tracks and lyrics. He raps with a very street vibe, unapologetically "tough" and raw. On the track "Rob Hell" a track about stealing souls back from satan, he says "I'm on God's time, uncle got a tear and he was not cryin', Tell me, what I gotta fear? Told you, we is not dyin'".
So when I heard this side of him, more singing and introspective, I was honestly surprised.

This vid from the album "Wont Fly" just drove so much creativity and introspection, forcing me to really think about my relationship with Jesus. We sometimes feel like we don't deserve His love, but His love is the reason He knocks...

This is another vid "Eyes on Us" and its got a sneak feature from Alex Jean, another one of my fave Christian artists

love to hear what yall think about this album.
